Desmond Adjaison is a PhD student in the Department of Geography and Environment at the Faculty of Social Science, Western University. His research explores urban informality, climate change, and housing vulnerability through the integrated lens of systems thinking, political ecology, and intersectionality. At the WeCLISH Centre, Desmond seeks to leverage the centre’s collaborative platform to deepen his understanding of climate change in urban contexts. He looks forward to engaging in meaningful knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaborations, and to contributing to policies that promote climate resilience.
