Dr. Laila Rahman, with a PhD in Public Health, is a research coordinator for PARTAKE Africa at the Department of Geography and Environment, Faculty of Social Science, Western University. She is also the Climate Café Host at WeCLISH. Prior to joining PARTAKE Africa, she was a postdoctoral associate at Western. Her research focuses on gender and intersectional equality and gender-based violence. With methodological expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and participatory approaches and grant writing, Laila is keen to conduct collaborative research and knowledge exchange to contribute to climate change scholarship and action.
